This specimen is a fossilized Pliosaurus bone measuring 10.329" and was recovered from the Kimmeridge Clay Formation in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. It dates between 152,000,000-157,000,000 years old, back to the Jurassic Period, by which time Pliosaurus had established itself as a terrifying predator of the seas. The fossil ships with a certificate of authenticity.
